How do you do it?

All human being has a dream, a heart's desire. Different persons have varying dreams; some even have more than one. This post is all about discovering your dream or rediscovering those dreams, how to choose which dreams to pursue, and practical suggestions for achieving them.
Always remember that in choosing you dream:

1. Its not success that will bring you happiness. Its happiness that will be your key towards success.

2. By pursuing one of your dreams, we can find fulfillment. So that feeling makes us go on. We don't need to pursue and be pressured at all.

3. By living your dream, we can contribute not only to ourselves, but to everything and around us.

Unfortunately, however, with all these, most people are not pursuing their dreams.
When we're not going for our dreams, we spend, usually, our time and abilities to the things we think will make us happy, the things will bring us fulfillment: the new house, the new car, the new techie gadgets, etc.

I remember the maxim: "You can't get enough of what you don't really want." When your new cellphone doesn't make you happy anymore, you tend to blame your cellphone and set our sights on a "better" one. Thinking "surely that will make me happy".

The saddest thing is, many people are so far away from living their dream that they have forgotten what their dream truly is.

I come from a third-world country, Philippines. I believe that most of the people in our country are losing their own dreams. They are now struggling to whatever life brings to them. They're not anymore clinging to their heart's desire. In turn, we scold the government for not taking care of us, well in fact it's our own dream we have not hold unto. I know if all of my people seek for success of their dream(s), they won't be in squatter areas.

It is sad. It is unnecessary. It is wasteful. And yet, it's so common an ailment that it's become a cliché. We have abandoned our inner's desire - and somewhere, down we know it. Even if we can't remember quite what it is - we miss it. (to be continued)
